Users upgrade their accounts to VIP in order to gain special benefits in Modio and on the forums. VIP is our way of keeping the site and Modio running smoothly. If you cannot seem to find help there, then try contacting an Administrator on the site for further assistance. If you keep getting errors with Modio, try asking and searching for help on our forums. If you do not understand this concept then just remember that all Xbox360 files need to be “fixed” once they are edited. Fortunately, rehashing/resigning will make your Xbox360 think these files have not been externally edited in any way, therefore allowing them to be loaded. To ensure save integrity, your Xbox360 saves these files in a specific way that if they are edited they will no longer work. Your Xbox360 uses a special filesystem to save and load gamesaves that are stored on your device. These ID’s can be easil saved and used later in Modio so you don’t have to memorize them. The only thing that you need to do for these to work is “resign and rehash” the gamesave with your specific ID’s that can be found in any original gamesave from your Xbox360. Gamesaves can be shared between gamers and can be downloaded from the huge database of saves built into Modio. I’m sure you understand the concept of saving and loading games, well, these are the actual files that your Gamesaves are files stored on your Xbox360’s memory devices that saves your current session in a certain game. Once it is formatted all you have to do is plug it into your computer and Modio will automatically find it. To format your USB memory stick all you have to do is plug it into your Xbox360 and go to System Settings > Memory on your Xbox and click Y over the USB device and then click on Configure. Using Modio with any USB stick only requires you to format the USB stick on your Xbox360 console. The transfer cables are used to connect the device to your computer via a USB port. Using Modio with an Xbox360 Hard Drive or Memory Unit requires you to have a transfer cable for that device. This can be done by using your Xbox360 Hard Drive, Memory Unit, or any USB Memory stick 1GB and up. Modio is based around the transfer of saved games (“gamesaves”) between your computer and your Xbox360 console.
